Polk Audio Monitor 40 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Cherry) Polk Audio AM4022-A. I am currently using these speakers in a stereo music setup but intend to switch them to a home theater application. They deliver excellent midrange and midbass. I find the soundstage a little lacking and that there is not much "air" in the sound - probably the result of the tweeter rolling off at higher frequencies. Overall it has the characteristic Polk sound which is mellow and not fatiguing. I recommend them heartily to users who are looking for value rather than perfection. Polk Audio Atrium 7 Speakers (Pair, Black) Polk Audio AM7085-A. I waited to write this review so the speakers had seen one season each of Fall, Winter and now a good bit of Summer. I have them mounted on my siding in my patio, about 9 ft high and 14 ft apart on either side of a bay window/door leading to steps that take you down to the patio. I have paired them to a Niles WVC100e volume controller that is connected to my Denon 3808CI as a Zone2 connection. I would have preferred them to be closer to each other for true Stereo sound but I have a 350 sq ft patio that needed coverage so they work well as they are placed today. I have seen more than a foot of snow piled on them, torrential downpours, bird poop and dry leaves not to mention spider webs and they look good after a simple clean up with a ... Polk Audio TSi200 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Cherry) Polk Audio AM4202-A. I love these speakers. They look sensational, and even though they are not large, they deliver crisp, powerful sound. I am using them for a home theater setup (along with the wonderful Polk center channel) and even though I am not using a subwoofer, the bass is right where it should be. These speakers are definitely worth the money. If I could afford an acoustically transparent screen for my projector, I would buy their towers immediately.
